Dedication to Montanna

From the time we first saw you with your great big paws

we knew you were special and we had to be yours.

  We would show you off and you made us so proud,

you were our little man and we loved you so much.

  People would see you and say what a handsome big boy,

you'd wag your tail and they'd give you a pat, oh what joy.  

You loved to visit the neighbours and play with your ball,

but you always came running when we would call.

You were mums special boy and dads workmate,

we would share a pizza or a piece of flake,

a roast on the bench, you were sure to take.

  You would chase the cat and give him hell,

but you became good freinds it was plain to tell.

  You loved the ladies both two legged and four,

babies as well, thats for sure.

  You lie next to your son and together you run,

as you loved to play, oh such fun.  

You'd bark at strangers as they'd pass by,

protecting our home as was your right.

Your spirits still here patroling the yard,

watching over your family each & every night.  

You have gone to play with that tennis ball in the sky,

and we will always remember you as the years go by.
