BSDC of NSW Championship Show - 31st July 2004. Judge: Mrs S Redmer (USA)
1st Aust Bred Dog Class
Fully mature 3 year old male shown in full coat. Slightly off square. Good firm back, moderate neck, good length leg. Good bone. Stands little east-west in front, but straight in rear. Ears well set, excellent shape and size, complete scissor bite. Good slightly almond shaped eye, could be little darker, parallel planes, muzzle could be trifle longer, slightly prominent zygomatics, little deep in skull., long tail past hocks. Excellent character and temperament. Handsome typey male with excellent presentation. Shown in perfect condition. Sufficient chiselling. Easy balanced side gait. Clean coming and going. EXCELLENT

Big strong dog, complete level bite. Strong skull, little bit round. Brown eyes. Good muzzle. Well erected ears, little bit wide at base. Good neck, good back, little bit falling croup. Very good chest, good angulations. Good coat. Little bit narrow in the rear movement, loose in elbow. Hooked tail. EXCELLENT

Scissor bite, complete dentition. Good size, excellent fur, expressive face well chiselled. Excellent hazel eyes, excellent small ears. Excellent reach of neck. Excellent square build. Slightly sloping croup. Good shoulder and hindquarters. Excellent bone, excellent parallel stance. Very good movement and carries tail well. EXCELLENT

Dog has excellent head piece in size, shape and planes. Good angulation front and rear. Moves nicely going and coming and sideways with good reach. Is a square dog. EXCELLENT

Complete scissor bite A big elegant, bit long, good typy dog of nearly 3 years. Long head with good expression. His skull is receding. Good stop, almond brown eye. Lips could be dryer. Well set ears, nice top line but a steep croup. A good chest in the front but depth could be more. Good angulations in the front, just enough in the rear. Good bone, good coat, friendly character. Movement narrow in the rear, out at elbows in the front, side gait is very nice. Good tail carriage. Very Good.

20 months, complete scissor. Good size male. Opulent coat of good texture. Medium length head, expressive. Receding in back skull, good stop, almond eye, touch wide set and could be a little more oblique. Excellent high set ears of good triangular shape, used constantly. Good pigmentation, beautifully arched neckline, good topline, sloping croup, touch long in loin. Good bone and substance. Chest well let down, giving nicely defined underline. Good cat feet. Moderate angulation front & rear. Very elegant silhouette. Good showmanship. A touch close behind. Good tail carriage, easy flowing side gait. Excellent.

Internediate Dog Class
Eighteen months, very good type, head with good length, parallelism not very good, nose a bit Roman, minimum stop, medium brown eyes, well set ears, nice neck, topline not firm enough, sloping croup, shoulder placement ok, upper arm too steep, correct angulation in rear, underline shows too much tuck up. Movement a bit restricted in front and a little narrow behind. Enough bone, dog rather narrow in front, needs to mature. Well presented. VERY GOOD

Full scissor bite, good size, excellent head, excellent skull, stop & muzzle, very good ear, very well carried , excellent eye, very good parallelism, excellent body ,well put together, very good proportions. Excellent topline, croup slightly sloping. excellent chest for a young dog. excellent parallel stance, shoulder slightly straight, good hind angulation, could be slightly more pronounced, narrow front and back when moving. excellent back leg movement. excellent movement.
